Responsive, quick and super comfortable!

Add some spring into your step with the NikeCourt Zoom NXT! This high performance court shoe features a large Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to supply you with energy return as you sprint towards the next shot. Weight has been strategically reduced to help keep you feeling light, but still maintains the durability needed when grinding it out on the hard courts. Breathable mesh on the uppers is designed to keep your feet cool, while the padded ankle collar, and Zoom Air underfoot will keep you feeling comfy for hours on court.

  • Upper: Breatheable mesh designed to keep feet cool during tough matches. Plush and padded ankle collar for added comfort. Partial internal sleeve supplies a glove-like fit, and reduces heel slip. Pull tabs on heel and tongue to make it easy for taking on or off.
  • Midsole: Large Zoom Air Unit in the forefoot, that is curved to respond to your stride. Midfoot shank plate provides rigidity for stability, while having enough flexibility for easy heel to toe transition.
  • Outsole: A data informed outsole, which eliminates extra bulk, but is durable where most needed.
  • Color: Black / White

Not a real replacement for GP TurbosI bought one pair of Nike GP Turbos and loved them. They lasted over 6 months. Most shoes only last 2 or 3 months before the soles wear down for me. I weigh 230 lbs. Of course Nike can't sell shoes that last over 6 months and make money so they discontinued the GP Turbo. I read the NikeCourt Zoom NXT was the replacement but it is not. It doesn't have nearly the same cushioning especially in the heel and I started having knee pain after wearing twice. Also, a shoe eyelet broke. They are nice looking though so could be good fashion shoes.

Horrible qualityThe shoes look nice however one hour into light playing the white loops that hold the shoe laces in place snapped off which caused the shoe to not be able to be secured to my foot and caused a small sprain in my right foot.

ComfortableComfortable shoes. At least a 1/2 size big, so size down accordingly.

Comfortable but eyelet broke after a week. These were comfy (if a little roomy) and have a good response/move. However, the top eyelet broke after a week. Not sure the rest of the eyelets will last the month looking rather fragile. Am out of country for 6 months so cant return. Do not buy these shoes.

Ex-college and pro player. Awesome shoe. This shoe is the most comfortable Nike shoe made. It has a ton of cushion and makes you feel springier and ready to take off. It’s a taller shoe than the vapor, so hard court slides beware of that as it can roll. I have gotten great use out of these playing 4-5 days a week and sliding on hard courts with them they have lasted me a solid 3 months which for a tennis shoe is pretty good. Vapors last me about 6 weeks at most. For the price you can’t beat this shoe. I have not had an issue with durability of the laces or anything else like others are saying. Buy two for the price of one Vapor in my opinion.

Poor DurabilityGood Shoes. But the lace eyelets broke after 2 hours of use. I couldn't lace shoes tightly anymore.

Hurt AchillesI never do these reviews but want to prevent someone from buying these. After wearing them for 2 hours my Achilles hurt so bad I took them off and never put them on again. Not as roomy as other reviewers have said either. The rest of my foot was not feeling comfortable either. Going back to Asics Gel Resolution.

Great, comfortable shoeI've worn every version of the Cage and Vapor for the last 5 years and liked aspects of each - the durability of the Cage and the lightness of the Vapor. This shoe combines the best aspects of both the Cage and the Vapor. They are light yet provide plenty of support. They are super comfortable and the sole provides plenty of grip on hard courts. The pattern on the sole is very unique and I wonder how well they'd do on clay courts. The cushioning is my favorite aspect of the shoe - they feel "springy" and very, very plush. Highly recommended!!

Worst fit I had purchased a pair of my usual Nike sneakers at size 9 and they were big so I swapped them out for size 8.5. They still felt ultra loose. So it looks like I wasted $140 on non useable sneakers.

Broken eyeletsI love the shoe but I've only worn them 4-5 times and the uppermost inside plastic eyelet has broken on both shoes. I lace my shoes through the final hole so I am not sure why there would be so much pressure to cause breakage.

Not enough support for meA bit heavy and not feeling great support from the shoe. It was a wrong pick for me so I returned it. I do hear good review from others though.

My second favorite tennis shoesI normally wear Asics Resolution 8, but since I could not find my size any where, I thought to try this shoes that was recommended from one of my friends until Asics release the new collection. I found these shoes to be light weight and somehow comfortable, which is what I like in the tennis shoes, however I cannot give the comfort level more than 4 out of 5 because it hurt the back of my ankle which is something I never seen in the Gel Resolution. The shoes are also higher off the ground (which I did not like) comparing to the Gel Resolution which makes you connected to the ground. In general, they are good tennis shoes that I can buy again when Gel Resolution is out of stock, as the Gel Resolution is still unbeatable.

Love this shoe!Had to buy a second pair right away loved the first one so much! Very comfy, wide toe box and didn't need breaking in at all!

MrI got the white ones. The shoes are super comfortable. Feels close to the old Vapor before Nike cut the deal with Federer. Although the design looks a bit strange, but it is very comfortable and no need to break. The shoes are not durable at all. They will be worn out in 1.5 months. You got comfortable but lost durable. Also, Nike's QC is getting worse and worse. The white pair works for me fine, but the green pair cut my ankle in 20 minutes.

Not durable or comfortableAfter the first time playing these had a hole in the side. They also rubbed on my heel and caused a bleeding blister. Worst shoes I've ever had.

Closest shoe to replace GP TurboI had to find a replacement for the Gp turbos since they stopped making them. These shoes are not bad. They definitely breathe waaaaay better than the GP turbos. Not as plush and cushioned. They feel like they put you on your toes. They do run slightly big, but the room has stopped my toenails from being crushed. I have narrow flat feet so Nike is the only shoe I wear. This will be my shoe until something better comes out. Highly recommend if your amateur tennis player.

Shoe Lace Hole BrokeThe shoes the first couple days were great. I love the shoes but I was always worried about the lacing system and how I thought it break, turns out I was right. It broke after a couple of uses and now the shoes won't give my foot that snug feeling that I like. I'll be hesitant to use buy shoe again, but l hope they fix that problem!

Solid tennis shoeI'm a 3.5 level player, and have been using these shoes for a couple weeks now. They are comfortable and I have not noticed issues with the lace eyelets that others have mentioned. I usually wear K-Swiss but thought I would try these and have not (so far) been disappointed. They do run about 1/2-size too large, as others have noted.

Bad lace supportLace support snapped within first 3 weeks making the shoe unwearable. Bad design. Great shoe if I could tie the laces.

Really comfortable shoe but with a problemI have been in and out of Nike for years. This is probably my favorite from a comfort standpoint. I have a high arch with wide forefoot and this is the best Nike fit in the forefoot and does not have the tight bootie construction that is a pain to get on. As other reviewers noted, the heel is firm but not uncomfortable (similar to Lotto) but the forefoot fit and feel is great. It does keep you on your toes and feels fast with good grip. I have not had the shoe long enough to evaluate durability of the outsole yet. The big problem is the terribly weak lacing system. The second time I laced them up, I broke the top cheap eyelet. I was able to use a leather punch and create a new hole but I should not have to do that with a good shoe on the second wear. If this was fixed, it would be 5 stars.

Great shoes, hope they continue this lineOverall great shoes, especially in comparison to the Vapor Pros. These do not angle inward like the Vapors do and they feel more neutral. One unique thing I noticed is that they seem to keep me on my toes, allowing me to react faster to volleys and dropshots. I am normally a size 10 but went down to 9.5 and they fit perfectly, even for me having a slightly wide foot with a low arch. Also great durability- I am a 4.5 level player and only the forefoot portion of the outsole was worn down after about 26 full matches. A few small downsides: -Not much heel support -Lace inlets are thin, which could break if pulled too tight -Doesn't have the "low to the ground" feel Pleasantly surprised after using this new shoe. Will definitely buy these again.

Quality issueThe shoes look good and fit true to size, however the eyelets holding the shoe strings broke after the first few days of using them. This makes it difficult for the shoe to stay on tight with the needed support for running around the tennis courts. Item returned.

Looks good feels tightLooked like an interesting design. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. Mid foot was much too tight and offered little support.

Good All-Around ShoeThese strike a good balance between comfort and responsiveness. TW is correct that they run a little long.

heavy, painful in the heal, & cheaply madeI am always hopeful that new Nike shoes will wow me, but these unfortunately fell short in most categories. They were too heavy, and the heal structure is very bulky and uncomfortable. I put my go-to insoles in the shoes and that helped a little bit, but moving around on the court immediately felt too hard in the heel. That unusual bridge piece along the bottom of the arch makes it difficult to flex your feet freely. It may get better after a few hours of break-in, but my pair didn't last long enough to find out. After about 45 minutes of play, one of the lace connectors snapped off the shoe. It seemed like it was cheaply glued on and probably more would have fallen off in the future.

Remember the Breathe 2k11?If you've been wearing Nike over the past few years and have been a bit disappointed, this one is worth a try. I go through 5-6 pairs of tennis shoes a year and try most of what Nike puts out. I have a medium-narrow foot with a narrow heel.

Previous Feedback

Comments: Just finished my first time on the court with the Nike Zoom NXT and I must say I am flabbergasted. I honestly did not have any expectations for this shoe after trying the rest of the Nike line of tennis shoes the last 4 years. To say I was very pleasantly surprised is a vast understatement. As soon as I started warming up, I could tell these shoes were unlike any I have tried before and that are on the market now. First, they naturally put you up on your toes a bit due to the Flyplate construction. Once there, I found myself instantly in better position to move to the ball. Once I did, the Flyplate was noticeable in propelling you forward slightly as you pushed off. Net result, I was getting to more balls and in better position to hit them. Secondly, as noted by Foot Doctor Zach in his review, these shoes excelled at moving laterally. Once I arrived at my hitting location, I noticed a huge improvement in my balance and foundation to make the hit. Net result, I was getting to balls quicker and doing more with them when I got there. These shoes are totally unique to the market and while I may simply be prone to hyperbole after my first day in them, I feel they are the first shoe I can recall that helped me play better tennis. In addition, they were well-ventilated, had excellent traction, and were comfortable under foot. I would highly recommend anyone looking to play better tennis try these shoes out. I think they could be a game changer.

Comments: Received yesterday. This Court Zoom NXT is much better than Vapor React NXT or Vapor Pro. I always had issues with the uppers of those shoes. Both Vapor Pro and Vapor React NXT have hard uppers and my toe and toenail kept breaking and causing pain due to their upper design and shape. However, I am glad that Nike came back to mesh uppers like the Vapor X. Very breathable and my feet do not hurt anymore and are very comfortable. Also, the midsole Zoom Air unit is very plush (it may not feel as plush as GP Turbo since Zoom NXT's zoom air unit is in the forefoot instead of heel), but this decision helps me to quickly move around, split step and use great foot work. However, the heel side does not have the zoom air unit and the foam is more dense. If you expect the GP Turbo you may be disappointed because this shoe is very different from GP turbo. I think these shoes (Court Zoom NXT) are better in performance for a match. It is very responsive, lighter than the GP Turbo, more breathable than the Cage 4, and Vapor NXT. Also outsole is unique waffle pattern (not herringbone patter as usual). It grips very well on each step and I think it may be more durable too. Only down side is less cushion on heel, but it is definitely worth trying. Also sizing is a little bigger than regular Nike tennis shoes. It runs a little wider and big. I wear 8.5 for Vapor X (fits very well), but I wear 8 (half size down) and still find a more relaxed fit than Vapor X. However, I feel that this shoe does not lock in and fit as good as the Vapor X. If you have a wider foot, I think it is good option for you. This is my third favorite after the original Zoom Vapor 9.5 and X.
