We invite you on a journey to the Everest base camp. Himalayas are the highest mountains in the world and that says everything. Everest or Sagarmatha is the main treasure of Nepal. The highest point of the Earth (8848 or 8850 m) attracts the attention of thousands and thousands of people simply because “it is”. “Because it is there”- George Mallory's famous answer to the question, why do you want to climb Everest. The searches of the path to the highest top of the Earth a long ago became an alpinist epos and everything associated with these searches became the "holy land".

Mountaineers opened this wonderful country for ordinary pedestrians. It turned out that the expedition paths on which were dragged hundreds of tons of goods needed for climbing are an excellent place for a leisurely rest of peacefully going people without luggage. So a foreign word appeared in the language of mountain people – trekking. It differs quite substantially from our mountain tourism – a traveler carries load as much as he needs to feel comfortable.
