International Credit Card Verification

Please be aware that first-time international customers may be required to go through a process known as Credit Card Verification.

The Credit Card Verification (CCV) is a procedure to confirm that the authorized cardholder has actually made the order. This is an extra security measure to protect you, the cardholder, and us from credit card fraud. We realize that this will take a little more time, but the protection it offers outweighs the inconvenience.

  • An order confirmation will be sent informing you that we are requesting a CCV.
  • A small charge (between $0.01 and $5.00) is placed on the card being used.
  • Contact the bank associated with the card by phone or online to get the exact charge.
  • Contact us at to confirm the amount of the charge. Reference your order number, your name, and the charge amount in the email (the authorization code is helpful as well).
  • If confirmed, the amount charged will be deducted from your order total.

Frequent Questions

There are two ways to place an international order. First, you may order via our secure online ordering system, an email confirmation will be sent to your personal mail account within 24 hours. Please note that Tennis Warehouse may require additional information from you before we can process your order.

Alternately, you may send your order request via email to We will reply as soon as possible, but there may be a delay, due to time differences. Our Customer Service Department is open for phone orders Monday through Friday between 7:30 am ET and 11:00 pm ET, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am ET to 8:00 pm ET.

Tennis Warehouse accepts payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover and American Express), PayPal, Venmo and wire transfer. All orders are processed in USD currency. If a credit card is used for the purchase, the issuing credit card company will bill the charge in your local currency at the current exchange rate.

In an effort to protect the security of our customers, authorization information may be required for international purchases. The authorization process is required for first-time payments, but subsequent orders using the same payment method are not subject to the authorization process. Any and all requested information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive within 1 business day of completing your purchase. International orders awaiting information can be held up to 5 days. Please reply to any requests at your earliest convenience to avoid processing delays or cancellation of the order.

You are welcome to return or exchange any items purchased from Tennis Warehouse. The products must be returned in the same condition they were received. Clothing must be unworn and in the original packaging. Shoes must be unworn and in the original manufacturer's box. Tennis Warehouse will refund the product cost only; shipping and customs fees are not refundable. Any customs duties and fees incurred by Tennis Warehouse when the package re-enters the United States will be deducted from your total refund.

There are no U.S. taxes; however, you will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Tennis Warehouse strongly suggests that you check with your local customs office to determine the extent of such charges prior to purchase.

If any international order is refused upon delivery for any reason, all customs and duty charges will be billed to you by Tennis Warehouse. Once a package enters your country, these charges are not reversible whether the package is delivered to you or not.

Tennis Warehouse will not issue credit in cases where packages are not delivered due to non-payment of fees, refusal or abandonment.

Due to some manufacturer policies, we are unable to ship certain products outside the United States. If this is the case, customers will be notified via email. If you need additional assistance, please email us at

Tennis Warehouse reserves the right to prohibit shipment to any international or United States address that has a history of fraudulent orders or customs and delivery issues. If delivery to a hotel is requested, Tennis Warehouse will require the customer to assume all liability for the package upon proof of delivery. This will be requested in the order confirmation email. Tennis Warehouse will not be responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once your order has shipped, it is not eligible for cancellation. Abandoned packages are not eligible for retrieval.

Shipping Options

Tennis Warehouse currently offers six shipping services. Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Express International, FedEx International Economy, FedEx International Priority, UPS Worldwide Express and World Mail.

Priority Mail International:

Available for orders under $150 and under 10lbs. Generally takes 2-4 weeks to arrive. Unfortunately there is no tracking information available for this shipping option.

Priority Mail Express International:

Available for orders with a value lower than $200 USD. Deliveries take 1-2 weeks. Priority Mail Express International offers a tracking system via the United States Postal Service web site The information offered is very limited. However, it does show when your package arrives in your locale, which is helpful for estimating delivery times.

**Priority Mail Express International is the only option available to Russia and Mexico, and transit times can be up to 4 weeks. These orders can have a value higher than $200. Due to size restrictions enforced by Priority Mail Express International, your order may be split to adhere to their policy. In such cases Tennis Warehouse reserves the right to charge for additional shipping costs.

Federal Express International Economy:

Only available for orders to Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil. Deliveries take 5-7 business days. FedEx offers a comprehensive tracking system via their website

Federal Express International Priority:

Only available for orders to Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil. Deliveries are guaranteed in 2-5 business days. FedEx offers a comprehensive tracking system via their website

** FedEx Surcharge Information: An Extended Area Surcharge may apply to shipments to specific International destinations. A listing of applicable destinations is available at

UPS Worldwide Express:

Available for all International orders. Deliveries take 2-5 business days. UPS offers a comprehensive tracking system via their website

World Mail:

Available for orders weighing under 2 pounds with a value less than $75 USD (excludes racquets, bags, and shoes). Generally takes 4-6 weeks to arrive. Packages are picked up from Tennis Warehouse by UPS and delivered via the local postal system in the destination country. Unfortunately, there is no tracking information available for this shipping option.

Import Taxes:

There are no U.S. taxes; however, you will be responsible for any additional customs, handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Because each country is different, and these fees change often, we cannot provide an estimate of these charges. We recommend contacting your local post/customs office to receive more information.
